A Little About Us

God's will for His people and His church are revealed in His word. We are simply Christians, and our only goal is to please God. Our worship comes from the Bible, and the verses below direct us in serving God together. We encourage you to search the Scriptures to discover what God really wants.

We participate in the Lord's supper:

I Corinthians 11:26    As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

See also Luke 22:19-20 and Acts 20:7.

We sing together:

Ephesians 5:19    Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.

See also Colossians 3:16.

We pray together:

Acts 12:5    Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

Colossians 4:2    Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving

We study the bible:

I Timothy 4:13    Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

I Peter 4:11    If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.

We give for the Lord's work:

I Corinthians 16:2    On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

II Corinthians 9:7    Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
